My Tarot Journal


I like making my Tarot Journal more of an art journal. Here is a super cheap way to start your very own Tarot Art Journal!
  1. Pick up a small (5.5" x 8") Strathmore Visual Journal for $5.88 at A.C. Moore or about $7 on Amazon! OR use one of your own notebooks/journals! I love the 5.5 x 8 size, because it's easy to carry around, and the spiral-bound will let you lay your notebook flat while you're working.
  2. Pick up some cheap kids' watercolor paints, Crayola are perfect! ($2) OR crayons or colored pencils.
  3. Sharpies work great over the Watercolor ($5)
  4. Pens/Pencils
  5. Stamps, if you like to use them!
  6. Imagination (Free!)
You can start your Tarot Journal for a grand total of about $15 (or less if you use found supplies you already have)!

I like to use my Sharpies to section off my pages or make large headings for my pages. They're also waterproof, so you can paint over them with watercolors, and they shouldn't bleed. (Test other pens first, if you're unsure if they're waterproof, OR if you're unsure if a pen will write over dried watercolor paint.)

You can also download free printables from our Etsy shop to enhance your journals! Just cut them out and paste them in! They fit this standard visual journal size (at 5" x 8") or can be pasted into larger journals too!
